Saturday, June 15 • 10am - 7pm
Sunday, June 16 • 10am - 5pm

Stone Arch Bridge Festival returns to the west side of the Mississippi River.

The festival grounds will span the riverfront area on W. River Parkway from 11th Ave S to N. 4th Avenue.

The Stone Arch Bridge is committed to providing a platform for artists to sell their work, and the community to gather safely. More than 200 artists and culinary artists will participate with a broad spectrum of artistic mediums.

You probably have read or heard on the news that the Stone Arch Bridge will be undergoing restoration beginning this week through Spring 2025. Please rest assured that our Stone Arch Bridge Festival along the Mississippi will be vibrant, bustling, and OPEN for business this Father’s Day weekend, June 15 &16!

Our festival is located along West River Parkway from Portland Ave to N 4th Street. Although pedestrians and bicyclists will not be able to cross the Stone Arch bridge the 3rd Avenue and Hennepin Avenue bridge will be fully open. There is ample parking in Downtown.

It’s hard to take a selfie and pic of a finished painting together without looking like a goober. This new one is my version on a vanitas painting but with a person. Themes of growth, change, rest, obsession, and mortality. Lots of symbolism in the form of plants (fig tree, pomegranates, decay, dragon flies and other little bugs) books and other things. Lots to see! 20x16 inch’s, acrylic gouache and ink on paper and I’ll name it when I think of something. 🤓

TOTEM ANIMALS by 9 & 10 year olds. This is a magnificent project for learning about symmetry, shape, pattern and colour. We started with templates (available in our resources) to create the basic shapes of the animal faces and then used a range of coloured papers to create patterns and designs. One reason I’m going to @stonearch_fest is @stephaniesdish Culinary Arts Market. 38 local makers of food and beverage products will be under the Hennepin Avenue Bridge and along the river, including my friends @heresthedealspice, @thesalsacollaborative and many more.

Stephanie thoughtfully curated this diverse group of culinary talent, featuring a wide selection of local vendors from rare specialties to fun treats.

Plus, over 200 other artists along West River Parkway are selling a variety of goods from jewelry to paintings and much more. This includes the @theblackmarketevents businesses and entrepreneurs as well as @mplsvintagemkt Vintage and Vinyl Market.

And other entertainment from music to dance and even a car show fills your weekend with the best our creative community has to offer.
