2026 Poster Artist

CHUCK U has been chosen to create the 2026 Collector’s Poster

Each year, the Stone Arch Bridge Festival partners with a featured artist to create a limited-edition collector poster that captures the spirit of the river, the neighborhood, and the creative energy of our community. This year’s artwork was created by celebrated Minneapolis artist Chuck U, whose bold and unmistakable style has made him a favorite of art lovers for years.

The poster will be available for purchase at Chuck U’s booth during the festival, along with additional artwork from the artist. Festival attendees can also pick up reusable tote bags featuring the official 2026 poster artwork at the Festival Information Tent near Chuck’s booth and at the Hennepin Avenue Bridge entrance.

ABOUT CHUCK U

Chuck U is a painter, illustrator, and muralist from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who specializes in whimsical yet intricate works that celebrate the unusual and unexpected. His pieces are populated with fanciful flora, fauna, and unusual landscapes that are playful yet masterful, aiming to spark imagination and joy in the viewer.

Chucks’ prints combine traditional pen-and-ink techniques with digital coloring, printed digitally or as limited-edition screen prints. His paintings and murals are approached with a similar sensibility but take on a life of their own, transporting the viewer with scale, color, and the skillful line work that has become his signature.

Influenced by artists such as Eastman and Laird, MC Escher, and James Jean, Chuck U continues to bring his own mix of the delightfully unpredictable with the intricately elaborate to create works that are boisterous, witty, and memorable.
